1, 2 or 3 at Credo
Credo's Canadian guru of style Rio, chose the second floor at 114 Cumberland Avenue in Toronto's prestigious Yorkville neighborhood, as the perfect backdrop to launch their first shop ever seen outside of its Spanish roots.
What's neat about this shop is, they custom fit shirts for men, but also for women too! Offering an array of shoes and accessories to satisfy both sexes paired with the staffs expert advice on how to properly shop for a well tailored button up shirt. You can't go wrong!!
What sets these guys apart from other shirt makers? Well they are the first I've seen introduce a multi collared shirt, yes you read that right! Now available in a one collar, two collar and three collar as you can see from the photo attachments. So if you're a fan of getting a little attention, these rare finds are just what your closet is looking for.
On a final note, you should all keep this in mind, all shirts, shoes, belts and ties come in one of each size, and that's it!! This is not the shop for the "I wanna think about it" shopper, take it while you can, cause something this unique is gonna be gonna faster than you can say Visa! Or American Express!

Giving The Gift Of Style

Well, I'm sure that I am not the only person freaking out about "Who? to buy What? for" this holiday season.... Not to worry, I am here to help!
First on my list is a product created by Melanie Cruickshank of Dalish Cosmetics, a Canadian home grown business that works with all natural products, and is completely animal cruelty free!
When first introduced to this brand, and like many others out there, the first question that comes to mind is.... is this gonna be any good??? Now I have worked with my share of different cosmetics and none have been able to deliver what Dalish does.
Now you can fit your full brigade of make up in one little purse, and be able to touch up not just yourself, but all your besties too!
Dalish also suits a large range of different skin tones, from your fairest skin to your darker tones as well. If you have not tried this amazing product, do it!!! Grab your girls, have a couple glasses of wine, and try this astonishing product. It's ability to cover the skin leaving a flawless finish that is picture perfect.
The above shown kit usually retails for around $70.00 but makes for the perfect gift for your Mom, sister and girlfriend. Like I said kids, worth every penny!!!! Dalish offers quite an array of products, so be sure to visit their site www.dalishcosmetics.com for more information.
Next up is booking a Closet Correction service.... What's that? you ask.
A Closet Correction is

They then go through all the remaining clothing in your newly organized closet and start making as many outfits as possible. Utilizing all the amazing pieces you have in your collection, giving you or the person you are buying this service for, a fresh perspective on what they may have considered to be a tired closet. These amazing new outfits are then photographed for the client, and posted in their very own online closet. (To the right you can see an example of this service)
Elad does offer a wide variety of packages for all its services available on their website www.elad.ca inquiries and bookings should be mailed to closetcorrection@elad.ca and is available for both men and women.
Recap so far... we have talked about make up, we have talked about closet organization and the rebuilding of new outfits from current collections, now we need to talk hand bags, and this one also applies to both men and women, because in today's world, we all have a ton of things to carry, while others just want something cute to throw on their shoulder to finish off their look.

Now 442 McAdam has developed quite a celebrity following with people like Fefe Dobson, Leighton Meester and Taylor Swift coveting these deliciously beautiful pieces of arm candy. Make this an OMG! gift, as the receiver will be most joyful she gets to add one of these amazing top quality bags to her closet. (Shown here is my top fave, the "Hobette")
Guys don't worry we haven't

All 442 bags are made in Canada from top grain leathers and Italian pig skins adorned with vintage detailing and finished with the synonymous 442 McAdam metal plate. Pricing for these bags range from $225.00 - $490.00 and will most certainly put you on the "BEST GIFT EVER" list!!
So there you have it, my suggestions on what to get those special people in your lives, and to help spread love, peace and fashion this holiday season!

Nine West Spring Preview
There was as strong feeling of natural elements throughout the whole collection, from colour, texture and design, this collection of affordable foot wear is going to be on the top of many women's must have list for the upcoming seasons ahead.
Its funny, it's true what they say, you learn something new everyday, and tonight I found out about the history of the "City Sandal" a shoe that found itself in the busy streets of New York. With all the women running up and down Fifth Ave in their super thin designer heels, and the amount of times shoes got ruined as they walked over subway grates was so infuriating to women everywhere, and so the "The City Sandal" was born. A chunky heeled shoe that offers the same lines and structure their as thinner counter parts, giving women back their confidence as they approached these heel swallowing voids. Hooray for the "City Sandal"!!!!
Next on the hot list, is the total resurgence of animal print! Which by far is one of my favorite patterns out there. It offers the simplest outfit some pop and sizzle, without trying to compete for total attention. One thing is for sure...when this pattern is paired with reds, oranges and the spring collections toned down neutrals, they will deliver confidence and flavor to all wearers.
Girls you are so lucky, yes you pay more for the hair dresser, and yes you have to wait longer in lines for the bathroom then most men, but look at what you get to wear... I'm a wee bit jealous, but will live vicariously through my clients that get to call them their own.
Thanks for reading!

Dane Hartsell, Fefe Dobson & Cee-Lo All In One Night!!!
Upon arrival we are greeted, stamped and let in (by we I mean my good friend and fellow blogger Carrie Stephens and myself). Before I could start taking any pictures, I had to find Krystal to say hello, and thank for inviting us out!
With our attentions now turning to the stage, Dane and his all girl band came out to start their set. The music was totally dance worthy as the rock vibe began to fill the the club. You could see everyone in the audience totally caught up in their energy.
And if you're a rock music lover like I am, one thing is almost always certain; rock star quality, guitars, vocal talent and the cutest bum's in the world are almost a requirement before any male can hit the spotlight. And well, congrats to Dane for possessing all of those qualities. I look forward to your next showcase!
As Dane closes out his show, the club then starts setting up for our headliner, one Ms Fefe

The moment Fefe hit the stage, the
Fefe ended up doing a full set, with a mix of new tracks from her new album and some well know classics from previous albums, which totally pleased her fans that came out to see her show last
This being the first time I saw her live in concert, I was super impressed with her stage prescence, her unbelievable voice and her obvious love for what she does, you couldn't help but fall in love with her. My favorite part is when she busted out the acoustic guitar and sang "Joy" her title song of Fefe's new cd.
Now leaving Mod Club, and on the way home to change in to my second outfit of the night, and to crack open a bottle of wine with my good friends Carrie Stephens and Sasha Simler (Sasha btw, is a brilliant make up artist) before we head to the Cee-Lo private party at Prive in Yorkville, with the one and only Tika Simone.
As we get to the door, the cute bouncer guy Silvio was there to greet us. As we walked up to him, he said sorry guys its gonna be a few minutes before I can let you in, as the club was already at capacity, as he eyed to us the cops just a few steps away were watching the place. Silvio then asked, by the way this is a private event... to which I followed up with "Fuck You" (just so you all know, this was the actual password we needed to get in to the party last night) laughingly Silvio said, "Wow, your a natural with delivering that phrase" to which I said, its not the first time I've had to use it, but definitely a first time I had to use it as a way in to a place in high end Yorkville.
Making our way to the bar, to fill our empty hands with liquid libations before we do a circle around the club to find our friends in the crowd. Almost as soon as we turned around with our drinks we bumped right into Tika. This girl is way cool and just too much fun to be around. Anywhere she says there is something to be seen or to go to... I am a yes always! Its good to prepare yourself for the long haul, as these parties carry on until the wee hours of the A.M.
Now safely home, I filled up my glass of water several times before finally making my way to bed. Good night all!!

CHIVAS REGAL AND SHANU & KARIM PRESENT THE BLACK AFFAIR IN HONOUR OF STREEKIDS INTERNATIONAL - HOSTED BY VERONICA CHAIL

Well kids, the moment you have been waiting for has arrived.... What did Veronica wear?? As you can see in the picture to the left, this gorgeous little black number came from Brazen Hussy all thanks to my good friend Kiki. As mentioned before, when we saw this dress we knew it was the one! This little satin number hit Veronica in all the right places to really emphasize the beautiful curves of her gorgeous figure.
On Veronica's feet is a stunning pair of satin pleated gold and black pumps courtesy of Nine West to which I owe a huge shout out to Rebecca Nettleton, for hooking us up! These really brought the outfit to life, offering an elegant rocker twist to a clean sophisticated style.
Over the course of putting this outfit together, Veronica and I realized that we needed a belt to bring a little more attention to her tiny waist line, so the hunt began. Quickly realizing what we were looking for was not readily available to us, we opted to have one made. So its off to the fabric store for me!
Less than 24 hours before the event, I searched high and low to find the perfect satin that would naturally fit in the with the satin of the dress... needless to say, this wasn't my easiest task.
With fabric in my hand, I hopped on the subway and headed back to my place to bust out the sewing machine to start making this Obi inspired waist belt. Taking only an hour to make, it was ready to be dropped of to Veronica the next afternoon at Caprice salon in Yorkville. With a kiss, a hug and a so happy bounce, we knew she was gonna rock this outfit!
As the night rolled on during the event, I would get occasional messages from Veronica over BBM (one of my biggest addictions) saying how she was getting amazing responses to her style for the night, some of the photographers asked her to pause and do mini photo shoots on her way down the red carpet... needless to say this fashion stylist was a super happy camper!!!
Once again a huge thank you goes out to our sponsors for this event. Brazen Hussy, Nine West and Caprice Salon. With out you guys, we would not have looked so hot! XO

Nine West, We Need Shoes!!!
With our Brazen Hussy (www.brazenhussy.ca) on our back and Nine West (www.ninewest.ca) on our feet, Veronica is ready to take on the world in style.
In preparation for finishing touches, I made a quick stop at a local fabric store, running down the stairs, I turned to the closest associate and said "I need material for a belt... Where is the??) **Spoiler Alert** Have to wait for the event pictures before the outfits details are revealed ;)
While at the fabric store, I stocked up on needles and thread as well. And a good thing too! Got home and busted out my vintage Janome sewing machine, that is most certainly older than I am... for sure! While threading the machine, just as I was about to feed the thread through the needle, I noticed my needle had been broken :( Good thing I planned ahead on this one! Cause, I got it done!
Btw, favorite part about sewing is... Making the bobbins lol.
With the cutting, sewing and steaming done, I am so ready for tomorrows walk down the red carpet. So excited :D
Well kids its getting late, so I will say goodnight by leaving you an image of some seriously cute foot candy from Nine West, let me know which is your favorite??

The Dress Has Been Found!!!
Not even in the door for a minute and we had already eyed "The One". As we waited for Kiki (Kathleen Pedro) to make her way out of what she calls "The Sweat Shop" Veronica and I started digging in.
Not even moments later Kiki came out, and not empty handed, she was carrying several different types of sultry, silky and sparkly dresses for us to look at. Let the show begin!
With introductions wrapped, we loaded up a fitting room and began trying on everything! As suspected, the first dress we picked out was mind blowingly amazing, so much so, that any other dresses we tried on during this journey vanished from memory.
Now that the dress is sorted, out next stop is shoes! Tomorrow afternoon we are off to Nine West (www.ninewest.ca)to pick out some shoes for our most amazing, Veronica Chail. Loves her ;)

My Day With Veronica Chail
With being less then a week away from her stroll down the red carpet, I set up appointments with some of Canada's best design talent to helps us get ready for this media covered party.
Our first stop today was a visit with Nada ( nadadesigns.com ). Arriving at her showroom at 4PM, we are greeted by the designer herself and Laura (the girl that's helping us arrange the pull from the showroom) and we were quickly instructed to dig in to the enormous amount of racks in the showroom, housing some of the most amazing pieces from her collection. Let's just say I drooled most of the way through it!
Finally selecting eight different dresses, we headed to the fitting room to see how our choices looked on Veronica.
The first is a beautiful above knee jersey dress with a soft embellished round neck line, which looked impeccable on her, especially once we asked the showroom for a piece of black satin that I quickly whipped into a ruffled japanese obi belt, which brought this number to life. We bounced we squealed, and moved on to try the other pieces we had selected.
Now I'd like to tell you about each of the dresses we saw today, but there is only so much work my thumbs can do pounding the keys of my blackberry lol, but I will offer a few more prime descriptions of some of the other breath taking pieces Veronica tried on.
Because Veronica wanted a style that was very Alexander McQueen, she slipped in to two adventurous styles, to get her used to wearing statement making clothing.
The loudest dress we tried on was a gorgeous raccoon fur dress in a luscious fuchsia colour with precise grommets placed around the lower trim of the dress. Pretty, but overwhelming to our beautiful host.
Next up, was a gold hand sewn metal circles cocktail dress. The metal circles was an unbelievable option for the gala event, the only downside is that, the metallic circles (which resembled a musical instrument that any music lover would know, the symbol). Now imagine hundreds of little symbols clanging together as you move in the dress, now imagine holding a microphone to do interviews... Way to much sound!!! Even just in the showroom you could hear the clang at the opposite end, so as much as we would loved to have worn this, the noise factor pushed it into the eliminated section of our rolling rack. Stunning piece tho!
Needless to say, we found our number one dress with Nada today, but we still have several appointments to make our way through before making our final decision on what she will wear.
Of course these details will not be hitting my blog til the night of the event.
Stay tuned!
Much love <3

On Set With Uncharted Sound and rising star Diego Gomes!
The morning started with Dora Bloom (Assisting Stylist) and I going through all the accessories we had collected for todays project. Reaching out to some of the best in the biz for kids trend wear, Devlish Angelz (located in Yorkville). Its was a lot of their stuff that brought the rock star out in this humble performer.
As usual there was no way this day was going to start without my Starbucks latte and Chocolate Chip Cookie, for those of you that know me personally, you know this is my must have before starting any day for me.
Loaded arm to arm with accessories and lattes, Dora and I proceeded our walk through Liberty Village in search of a neon sign (which by the way is only neon at night lmao... Love you Lisa) to begin our set up for this afternoons project.
With everything in order, all we had left to do is wait for the little guy to arrive. As soon as Diego walked in, he introduced himself to everyone on location, talk about a budding professional. Yay Diego!
Dying to bring him over to the wall of accessories, and after hearing of his love for scarves and glasses. We loaded the set up with as much as we could of each so he could have just as much fun as Dora I had setting it up.
Now that all the outfits are approved, we move in to hair and make up, as Malakia (Art Director), Markus (photographer) Dora and I walk through the building to see where we are gonna shoot this thing. After finding two locations and also the option to shoot in studio, we were set for set :)
By far my top pieces were the Scotch Shrunk "Guitar Print" hoodie, the Ben Sherman wind breaker and the Geox herring bone hodded blazer, this kid looked impeccable! One thing is for sure, when we are called on again to dress up Diego, my first stop will definitely be Devlish Angelz <3
We all had an unbelievable afternoon, and are so looking forward to seeing the final product!
Once again, kick ass job team!
Much love <3

Today I meet with Devilsh Angelz
As my day beings and all the errands are nearing completion, I have to admit the highlight of my day will stopping by Devlish Angelz in Yorkville to meet the owner Jacqueline and collect some cool stuff for my shoot with rising star Diego Gomes (Winner of YTV's "The Next Star") on Sunday.
Admittedly I have not done much styling for kids in the past, most of my career has been focused on the trend and style development of my adult clientele, this is certainly going to be a new challenge to be added to my styling portfolio.
Since this store open

Well Guys
Though I have to admit the most challenging part about today is... What do I wear??
Finally settling on a dark wash pair of skinny denims, a lilac coloured dress shirt, a vintage Yves Saint Laurent brown, gold and teal wide striped tie, layered with a vintage waistcoat in charcoal grey, and a steel blue Andrew Buckler cable knit sweater.
For outerwear I went with a black leather jacket from Rudsak and blanket scarf from Scotch & Soda in royal purple, which is wrapped several times around my neck.
Finished of with a pair of Prada sunglasses and a cognac pair of Fly London boots. Have to say, I'm pretty happy about this look!
On the way here I got an invite to a Smirnoff Event here in Toronto on November 27th. What's super exciting about this party is the list of performers expected to hit the stage:
DRAGONETTE
ISIS (from Thunderheist)JALEBEE CARTELSHAA'IR + FUNC
Talk about a line up of superb sets!
You can definitely look forward to my coverage of this event! Luckily I have time to piece together some spectacular to wear :)
Well peeps, heading in to the meeting, write soon!

Now working as a personal stylist and closet corrector, I will be keeping you up to date on what I'm up to and how my career develops, as I know how challenging it can be to make it in this biz, but also think its important to share these experience with you as things begin to take shape.

Christine Atkinson Looking AMAZING!!!
After being contacted by Christine to take on a project this Sunday with a new recording artist by the name of Diego Gomes (Winner of The Next Star) I decided to do a little research in to the artist himself as well as the work of my good friend and host of UnchartedSoundLive.com the lovely Ms. Atkinson.

Kicking back to check out the USC live footage shot at Canada's Wonderland ( http://www.unchartedsounds.com/ucslive.php ) I realized she was wearing one of the dresses I had picked out for her....Damn she looked fantastic wearing a really cute knitted mod zigzag printed dress we found at fashion haven Balisi (www.balisi.com) which offers four accessible locations through out the city to feed even the most fashion hungry person out there... and yes they are well equipped to handle both men and women from shoes, accessories, handbags and did I mention shoes!!!!
After all the research I am ready to take on this project with my styling assistant Dora Bloom, and look forward to see where these two rising stars careers take them.... One thing is for sure, I will be right there for all their style needs!
Congrats to both of you!
