Hey everyone this past few weeks has been totally insane with projects that I have not had time to drop some lines on my blog. With that said here's what's been going on!
First on the list of things was an

amazing day shooting with the amazingly talented and super cute Brian Melo (
www.brianmelo.com ) for the cover of Uncharted Sounds Magazine in prep for the forthcoming launch of his newest album "The Truth" which if its anything like his previous album, will be a kick ass track list to add to your music collection. What an awesome guy!

As the Anokhi Magazine 5th Annual "Sexy and Successful" gala quickly filled a spot in my client Veronica Chail's (Host of Bollywood Blvd) agenda, the hunt for the perfect dress was set into motion. Scouring the city to find something nothing short of spectacular, we finally found it! At my best kept secret shop Guys and Dolls in the trendy Queen Street West neighborhood and designed by the cutest most lovable girls from
Brazen Hussy Kiki and Michelle Pedro, there is nothing like the magic that comes from their studio when putting thread to fabric. My personal rock stars of fashion design, love u girls >
With the dress found, now we were off to find some killer heels to set this killer dress on fire! With a stop into HeelBoy on Queen Street we found a gorgeous pair of Steve Madden platforms in a muted taupe colour that couldn't have been more perfect. Snatching up the shoes our next stop was of course accessories.
When putting together a look, accessories can make or break an outfit, and to get your hands on the hottest sparkly bits this city has to offer, we headed to
Accessity in Yorkville.
We soon realized that if this outfit was gonna rock, we needed to layer several necklaces to bring just the right amount of delicacy and edge to an already forming must have outfit.
With our hands fun and our outfit done, Miss V and I bounced with joy that she was ready to present an award at this extremely high profile event.

My next step was to starting getting ready for a Valentine's Day segment I was asked to do by Rogers Daytime York. So again my hunt began in search of some dresses that could relate to as many of the viewers as they could.
Hopping back on the subway, I made contact with two model/actors that I adore to accompany me on the show to model these beautiful concoctions.
The segment turned out to be one of the best experiences I had with the Daytime team, the hosts Jacqueline and Jeff are super awesome at what they do, and I love being on air with them. (Video footage of this will be posted on www.elad.ca in the weeks to come) but if you can't wait, you can also see the episode we did in January where we talk about
"How to Make Over Your Closet"Much love <3
